Club Adagio's "After School Training Program" offers working parents an alternative after school care choice for their daughters aged five to thirteen years. Fulfilling all the safety, care and nurturing aspects that are so important to parents, it also provides an athletic and creative component which promotes fitness and health for their growing bodies. The girls learn a sense of discipline, how to set goals, how to work cooperatively and how to build personal confidence within themselves. All of this and more is taught through the pursuit of sport at a level appropriate to each girl's ability and interest level. Through our popular program, which is offered during the school year during those critical 3pm to 7pm hours or during a series of camps in the summer months, our girls practice and learn all about the beautiful sport/art of rhythmic gymnastics. Club Adagio's unique program is able to provide a healthy and enjoyable activity for after school, assuring parents that their daughters are well supervised and engaged. (less) ... (more)
False Creek Ferries has been operating passenger ferry service, and sightseeing tours in False Creek since 1982. Starting with two electric ferries running between Granville Island and the North Shore, the idea of water-borne transit in the Creek slowly, but surely, became accepted. After more than twenty-five years, the "little blue ferries" are firmly established as an integral part of public transit in Vancouver. The ferries provide an inexpensive and fun way to travel to Granville Island.
The fleet now consists of 10 vessels, including four 20-passenger "Super-mini-ferries", and tours extend from the Maritime Museum in Kitsilano to Science World and the Main Street SkyTrain Station. (less) ... (more)

Muay Thai Boxing is an art form that utilizes all of the body`s eight limbs to create a devastating fighting style, as competitive in the ring as it`s effectiveness for self-defense. This art differs from Tae kwon do and Kung Fu in several respects; In Muay Thai "forms" do not exist, nor does the practice of pulling your techniques before they make impact.
Using specially designed pads and no-nonsense training methods, kicks, punches, knees and elbows are practiced full power and without holding back. Muay Thai`s no-nonsense approach to training makes the techniques easy to learn and extremely effective for self-defense regardless of athletic ability. Muay Thai Boxing is simple - stresses conditioning, power and effective self-defense. (less) ... (more)
